My Pokemon Series: Draceon by rontufox My Pokemon Series: Draceon by rontufox
This is my dragon eeveelution, Draceon. The first kid drawing is too plain and the second one is too unfocused, so I combined the two. Draceonís original colors were orange and peach, but peach is too close to orange. But I realized I sorta stole Dragonite's colors.... oops. To make it more dragon-like, I gave Draceon an elongated neck, wings, and a long tail for steering during flight. It's very large compared to the other eeveelutions.

More of My Pokemon Series:
Lileon
Arcteon
Bouldereon
Veneon
Screameon
Nadareon
Stormeon
Waspeon
Laneon
Soareon
Eveon

Just as a disclaimer or something, every Pokemon I created was made BEFORE the second generation Pokemon. SoÖ I didnít copy or anything haha.

I think it kinda looks like a Dragonite, which only adds to it's charm! Good job!

I'm a little embarrassed that I kinda just stole dragonite's palette, but I'm glad it makes it charming for you!
Thanks man!

You know, there's another problem with the English language. It trains the brain to go "Wow, that does NOT roll off the tongue".

And that's how "drakeon" works. Which would be the correct spelling from the root drake anyway.

"Draseon" just sounds better

Come to think of it, I have no idea why I kept the spelling with a c instead of a k... There's no reason to spell it with a c at all

Not sure if it makes a difference to how it sounds to you, but the "a" in draceon doesn't use the long vowel sound. It rhymes with "dot" instead of "date," if that makes sense. Either way, I have to admit that draceon is a lame/uncreative name to begin with :XD:

Technically, Drakeon would sound best with the a-sound from draw, and a ch sound as opposed to the k sound... "Drawcheon" sounds very dragon-ish.

Then again, when I think of dragons, I think four legs and wings and the ability to rampage through a small nation alone and nearly overnight, but still stoppable by a group of badass normals in gear and training specialized for hunting dragons.

Haha, the "cheon" in drawcheon sounds too much like "chew on" to me :XD: At least it would be unique. I'm pretty sure every fan-made dragon eeveelution in existence uses drac or drak in the name.

Aaand, I have no idea what you're referencing, I'm assuming a video game?

Monster Hunter. And I've seen at least one Wyvern-themed eeveelution today, using that very word.

So... Do you have a flying-type eeveelution I can hate on?
