Thank you! Yes, actually, finding the right hues and shades of green was really hard on this one (had to change them so many times), so I'm glad you think they're so successful! And you're right, people shouldn't fret about having slow art paces. Sometimes I don't mind, and just happily do things at my pace, but when I see amazing masterpieces done in 2-3 hours I get so jealous...
But dude, How'd you know if they really done that in 3 hours or less? You know they could lie too!
Ok, ok I 'll recognize there are some fast and awesome artist but then again, comparing to others won't make any wonders, but one can get inspiration from em' and try to be the very best... like no one ever was! I mean everyone have their own pace and style that makes it special!
I have mixed feelings about the flowers, probably because they seem a bit too big in regard to the general composition. However, the colors are beautiful and in general this illustration conveys a rather euphoric feeling.
They're a bit distracting. It seems appropriate to put flowers on that spot but the size compared to the landscape is what throws me off. The bushes would suggest (given how small the leafs are) it's a bit more distant so I would expect the flowers to be quite a lot smaller.
It looks great! The simplicity is really charming and I think it would make a great card for any occasions. I don't know why, but I'm mesmerized by that lighthouse! Funny thing is, this past weekend, I realised that I like seeing sunny days with open skies and no trees. And now, here you go making a picture of a sunny day with an open sky and no trees!
Thanks! I didn't really think about its use for other occasions! I guess you're right. Also I'm glad to hear your reaction to the lighthouse, cuz I was a little worried it might be standing out too much from the environment?
Haha, what a cool coincidence to make something you just realized you like!
