At first it was just called Danan, but that was a name from when we were first thinking up the story, and we realized the country name didn't fit the naming conventions of the people that lived there (for example, Ravel's full name is Ravelatz, his dad's name is Jilvalatz--their names are long and weird and "Danan" isn't either of those
awesome map! if the maps in my highschool geography books were colorful like this, I bet I would learn them better!
