I've been infatuated with *Aerobian-Angel's incredible napkin drawing ever since I first laid eyes on it. The epic camera angles and perspective distortion, the dynamic posing and action, the split down the middle alluding to S&K's dual playability--plus, Flying Battery is simply an awesome zone (my second favorite).
At the time I still had no grasp of color, so I always secretly hoped someone would color it--who knew less than a year later it'd be me, heh? :lol:

This is the most complex character lighting I've ever attempted, and it was freaking hard. I kinda feel like I overdid it in a few places, but. Ah well. If you notice no other details, please at least look at those missiles. And the capsules along the wall. I spent so much time on those tiny things, and I'm proud of them :XD:

Also, don't you like how Sonic's skin keeps getting increasingly pink with each piece I make?
How long til I ditch peach and just start coloring him hot pink I wonder lol.

But praise where it's due, the choice of colours and use of heavy shadows are beautiful.
